Great For Those With Oily Roots & Dry Ends!
5I've got the dreaded oily roots, dry ends hair type, so finding a shampoo that balances my scalp without turning my hair into a dry, knotty mess can be a bit of a challenge. Redken's Oil detox does a fantastic job at controlling my oily scalp/roots, allows me to go an extra day without washing and leaves the lengths of my hair feeling soft and smooth. The orange scent is really pleasant and quite refreshing, and I'm finding the 300ml bottles are lasting a lot longer than I thought they would as I only need to use a small amount on my shoulder length hair. Overall an excellent shampoo that does exactly what it promises, and one I'd definitely recommend trying if you have a similar hair type!

Excelent
5Although always haveing very dry hair and only needing to wash my hair once a week, lately my roots were really oily, my scalp was itchy and I had to wash my hair more frequently. Right after the first application the results were visible, my scalp is now more normal and went back to washing my hair once a week! It stays great all week and doesn't look dirty and greasy at all! And the best of it (and one of my wories) is that it doesn't dry out the hair! It also regained it's shine! I strongly recommend it!

Terrific!
4I have fine and greasy hair, so, I've been looking for some professional care. When I found Redken products and read lot positive reviews, I was really skeptical, but I had nothing to lose... Now, I can say, that I am happy, I found this shampoo - it was perfect for every day use, at start.. After one month of using it, I realized, that I can have fresh and beautiful hair for about 2-3 days after washing them with Redken oil detox!! Also, I bought for my friend (who has really thick and beautiful, but dry hair) Redken All Soft shampoo and Smooth Lock conditioner... Perfect!! Just perfect!!

Best shampoo for oily hair
4I've tried loads of shampoos for reducing oil and this one works the best, it has the most long lasting results. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that there isn't a particularly nice fragrance and it can be hard to work up a good lather. Overall though, its a great shampoo that I would definitely recommend for anyone with greasy hair.

5This shampoo effectively removes oil, my hair used after is very refreshing, Dandruff is also significantly reduced, for me, is very easy to use. . I'll stick with it

5This is a wonderful shampoo! I have hair that tends to be oily, and I had to wash it every day or one time in two days, but this shampoo made me wash my hair two times a week! My hair looks gorgeous - silky, shiny and smooth. I love this shampoo!

3The Redken Scalp Relief Oil Detox Shampoo claims to purify the scalp while leaving the hair cleansed, light and airy. And this is what this shampoo does. Not more and not less. However it does not give me more time between washes and my hair is greasing as much as usual. Since this is a pricey item and it did not what I hoped for I might not purchase it again. Nevertheless my hair feels beautiful after washing it and there is no overwhelming scent to it which I really like.
