good but not what I expected
4Not so good for my hair as original elixir ultime, which is a pure miracle. I expected more.

I don't understand the hype.
2I have damaged hair. Straight but coarse. I have used other oils in the past that have taken the coarseness away and left my hair smooth and not straw-like. This, however, didn't do a thing! When I first used it, it was as though I'd only used a shampoo and conditioner. My hair dried jagged and unmanageable and I continued to add more but that didn't seem to do an awful lot. It didn't make my hair feel any more nourished when I put it on my dry hair either. Its only redeeming quality seems to be that my hair feels a little stronger with continued use, but other oils have done this at half the price.. and stronger hair isn't supposed to be its selling point; it's promoted as something that causes silky shininess. I have to combine it with serums to get any kind of shine. The ingredients aren't particularly inspiring either. I have never heard of Immortal Moringa extracts, so I'm not excited by that. I wish I did like this more, I was so excited to get it, but I've just been left disappointed.

Fantastic
5First time I've used this Kerastase Elixir Ultime For Damaged Hair and I loved it... Highly recommended! I've got naturally curly/frizzy hair and with it straight or curly the frizz has now gone, it feels lush!

good buy
5I normally use Morroccanoil, and preferred it to the original Elixir Ultime - but this is great. You can be reasonably generous with this - 1-2 pumps - and it won't make your hair look greasy, unlike some oils which are trickier to use. I have quite fine, frizzy hair and it left my hair shiny and frizz free. It smells lovely, but not overpowering.

Even better than I thought
5I used the original elixir oil before and was very happy happy with it. I was hesitant to change to Kerastase Elixir Ultime, but I did anyway. I am so happy I made that choice. I actually find this one to be better than the original. Love it!

It works.
5My hair is dry, frizzy with a horrible curl that isn't really a curl. I go to the hairdressers once a week and get it blow dried straight. I bought this oil and got my hair dresser to apply it before blow drying. She applied one pump to wet hair and dried it as usual. However, the result has been straighter, healthier, shinier looking hair. I also have highlights in my hair and this oil has really rejuvenated them as well! I really love it and will purchase again. I am going to try it in my hair as a leave in treatment and see the effect it has on my unruly waves. May post a follow-up review if the results are worth reviewing! I don't often review products as very little works for me (hence why I go to the hairdressers once a week) but I must say this oil will definitely make your hair look and feel better.

Wonderful!
5It has a thin consistency. It is easy to distribute. It absorbs quickly into the hair and it has a lovely fragrance! Leaves the hair soft, shiny and fragrant. I love it!
