La Roche-Posay, has developed Redermic R with 0.3% retinol. Redermic R has clinically tested anti-wrinkle efficacy. It helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots and is suitable for sensitive skin. - Contains 0.3% retinol. - Exclusive Retinol Booster Complex [Retinol Linoleate + Adenosine] - Lipo-Hydroxy Acid [LHA] 0.3%
Directions of Use:
Apply in the evening on face and neck, alone or in combination with a moisturising cream. Do not expose skin to UV light. Apply a daily sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. If any discomfort occurs during initial use, space out applications so that skin can adjust. Do not use in conjunction with any other retinoids.

Unexpected good results
I am 45 years old with normal pale combination skin. Still struggling with a few breakouts around nose and chin, enlarged pores, and the appearance of wrinkles. I bought my first tube of this on a whim in Boots as it was looking lonely on the shelf (and before finding it cheaper here). I didn't really expect much. Used it a few times and was just about to go back to my old night cream when I took a closer look at my skin and realized that actually - my pores were shrinking and my skin looked "healthier". Luckily at that point I read up about Redermic R a bit more, because it was just before a small "purge" as spots came to the surface. I persevered through this (took 2-3 weeks) and after that I have never looked back. In fact I now use Effaclar duo+ under my tinted moisturiser in mornings and Redermic+ R at night (plus a bit of cream on drier areas) and the overall benefit is great. My skin does look fresher, softer, pores are reduced, and overall much clearer. And I feel more confident! For reference I do also do some at-home peels so I am not a total skin novice, and believe me this is not my first night cream. In fact, I was a bit negative to this cream because it didn't cost anywhere near my usual skincare. But the effects speak for themselves. So I would definitely recommend to try it. it worked for me.

Smooth
I've only used this a couple of months and can't say I've noticed any major changes however it's a lovely product. Smooth, silky and nice to apply as just glides on. Friends have commented that my skin looks fresher.

retinol
Effective product.Skin feels soft and looks plumper after use.No reaction to retinol so presume quite weak.No effect on age spots after 3/12 but less in the way of breakouts

Excellent!
Only started using these products a few months ago but they are brilliant, this one is no exception. I have used it to target any fine lines and am very pleased so far with the results.
