Not what I was hoping for
I should have checked the ingredients first, but this wasn't as I hoped. The alcohol in it caused my skin to become worse. I broke out like crazy. I stopped using it and used my water based toner instead and thankfully my skin cleared up in 2 days.

Not for Daily Use
This toner is fantastic and my rating reflects that, however only when used in the right way. This toner contains a 2% concentration of lactic acid which is an AHA. Some of you may know these are powerful acids known and used for their ability to prevent and clear up acne, blackheads etc. And generally resurface the skin. They are super, and lactic acid has been particularly applauded recently as it is not as harsh as glycolic acid but is as, if not more, effective at resurfacing with continued use. BUT. This is a big but. If your skin is not used to AHAs in your skincare regimen it is best to build up your usage to avoid a bad reaction. Also, it is not recommended you use AHA ingredients in the morning as they do serve to remove a surface layer of the skin which can/will leave you more exposed to sun damage. Therefore: at night is best and, to be more specific, one or two nights a week to build up resistance first. Otherwise, results in the disappearance of acne and brightening of skin will be fast but unsustainable and you will end up burning your skin out!

This is definetely the most efficient product I have ever used. I always struggled with oily and acne prone skin, as well as sensitive skin, and have tried my share of both cheap and overpriced products. Eucerin is affordable, and my skin has cleared remarkably, feels smoother and less oily - without drying out either. I even stuck to this toner and the night cream to keep it simple, and yet the effect is surprisingly fast. Hooray for a great, affordable, efficient product that actually works well on sensitive skin!
