bareMinerals Get Started Complexion Kit - Medium

I liked the products - a little bit too dark to be "medium" - but hey..the summer is only one month away;0). What I didn´t like was the brush - I had loose "hair" in my face both times I used it - then I gave up and used another one.

Really like the tidy small bag.It divided all items and make it as simple as orderly.Haven't try yet since it's the gift for my sister.Looking forward to hearing her positive comments of this starter kits

I have been meaning to try bare minerals products for some time and this seemed a good way to start. I just wish I had tried this before, I love the lightness of the products and the fact they give such good coverage. It is not easy to get such a natural look on (very) mature skin. Just brilliant

I have bought the baremineral serum foundation and that works miracles. To try out more products I wanted to give a try to this kit as the reviews were great. It comes in a lovely box. I loved the guide that explains how to use the products. The primer works well, no breakouts since I have been using it, the powder foundation blends in well. I did not get the shade right, I would have needed slightly darker. It is fun to experiment with all the colours. All in all, it is a nice kit, I just don't find it great, I am not a powder foundation type, as it turns out.

This by far my favourite make-up! Doesn't clog my pours up and it doesn't look like your caked in make-up like other brands. Highly recommend

It has been quite some time since I wore foundation. And was a little lost as to where to start. A quick chat to a good friend who just happens to know her stuff, led me to looking into bareMinerals. After a little research (I watched a couple of videos and guesstimated my shade on their website) I decided a Get Started CK might be worth a try. Of course on receipt I immediately started playing a little with it. It had been so long I found I was quite excited (note to self: must get a life) I was unsure whether I had the right shade, medium, as I was fluctuating between that and medium beige. I think I was right. The packaging is understated elegance. And the product goes on quite well with a little practice. The Primer is good and you only need a pea shape amount. The brush is soft but does the job. I had read a couple of reviews mentioning shedding hairs but so far this one hasn't. The foundations build up very well, use the original to get a luminous finish and the matte for obvious reasons. Tiny amounts at a time are the key. Warmth enhances the complexion. It's not as dark as you think as long as you don't overdo it. Mineral Veil is the finishing powder and have not used that yet. It's worth noting the foundation lasted quite a while. This make-up invites you to take your time. It feels very light and doesn't look caked on. Didn't crease either. I don't know if I'm sold on it for a lifetime but I'm happy to use it if nothing better comes along. Also, there is no concealer in the kit. Overall though a little goes a long way so worth the purchase.

My middle aged skin has become a problem. Becaause of the hot flashes, nothing stays on, and creme foundation tends to puddle around my jaw line (jowl, really). This is not the look I was going for. Got the Bare Minerals starter kit as I really needed to know what I was doing, and didn't want to look like a reject from Snog, Marry, Avoid. The kit comes in a beautiful case. All the products are labelled and there's even an instruction pamphlet. After a few dodgy trials where I found out that I need to use my own bronzer and an extra bit of highlighter here and there, I've succeeded in not only successfully applying the product, but hiding my fine lines and wrinkles, and giving myself a bit of a glow, and getting it all to stay in place when my Personal Summer starts raising its temp! I toned down my eyeliner a bit too, and now feel and look ten years younger. A brilliant kit. If I can do it anyone can. And even with daily use, I think I'll still get perhaps a couple of months use from the powder. May have to order some more Prime Time, but that's ok. Well worth the money, cos you can't put a price on feeling great.
