No point on dark skin

I am an African who wears shade Warm Almond 6.5 in Bobbi Brown foundations, and have a few black marks on my face from acne (hyperpigmentation reactions). I am halfway through a bottle of this serum, and other than a subtle glow in the first week of use, there have been no other noticeable changes. If not for the fact that my skin doesn't react badly to it (even after using 10% glycolic or mandelic acid the night before), I would give this product a 1 star. Clearly for customers of Oriental descent (look at Deciem's website under WhiteRX section and see who it's targeted at), so Africans shouldn't waste money on it as it simply can't affect the higher level of pigments. I've ordered an azelaic serum from Poland via eBay as years ago got good results with an azelaic soap from the US.

Did Nothing

I have dark skin and so I am prone to pigmentation marks from spots. I was hoping this would make a difference. I am now halfway through my second bottle of this. And it does absolutely nothing. Really annoyed because it is not cheap and most Deciem products work for me. I really wouldn't bother with this.

Disappointed!

I used this product for over a month and did not see even a slight difference in my skin tone. When I called Deciem to enquire about the Serum, the lady simply said that it works differently for people and that I may have to continue using it for 3-6 months which I think is silly because it just means I will be spending more money only to see that it doesn't work. I personally think 4-6 weeks is more than enough to see if something is working for you or not. You shouldn't have to spend hundreds only to see 'SLIGHT' results. My one star is based on the fact that it does slightly moisturise the skin. I will not be buying this product again!

nice

I've been using this for about 1 weeks now, The effect is not obvious, but I trust NIOD and I understand the need to adhere to, so I will buy again. BTW, The smell is not very good.
